The gift ideas just keep coming, here are some more stocking fillers for your F1 fan friends and family this Christmas:
Top Trumps! The classic and damn addictive card game. But here’s the twist rather than your normal car related Top Trumps, this set is all about chav cars, so instead of top speed and accelerating, we’re talking ‘garishness’ or how ‘pimped up’ the motors are.
Genius and sure to pass the time after Christmas dinner – a steal at £4.99
Did you enjoy woodwork at school? Are you looking for something that will keep a young F1 fan occupied while the grown ups have their post-dinner nap? Then look no further that this actually pretty damn good wood craft kit which will leave the recipient smiling, happy with their very own F1 grand prix car.
Pretty smart we’re sure you’ll agree. F1 woodcraft constructuon kit & it’s only £3.49
Now for the simply just bonkers - Racing Grannies. We can’t even believe that these exist, that some factory in China is actually putting together models of old ladies using zimmer frames that can move under their own power. It’s just insane, so insane that it’s actually good.
Bizzarre, yes but surely if a random stocking filler is what you’re after then you won’t have to look any further! If you’re really sold on the idea of racing grannies then you’ll also probably like the idea of granny track racing.
Here’s a rather sexist present for the female F1 fan – a “Girls guide to Car Care” from the usually more respectable John Lewis store.
What the heck, motorsport can be seen as sexist with all the men doing the driving and women holding signs while wearing short skirts. If you know of a female F1 fan, this could be an ideal stocking-filler.

You’re reading F1 Badger right now and chances are that the person you’re buying a present for will know of us here at the Sett too, so why not adopt a badger? It’s crazy, but it might just happen for us next year. It’s all quite easy and well you’ll be doing something good – if anyone does indeed decide this is the perfect gift for them, let us know…. click here for more information

Not very F1-themed this time around.
And why are things only regarded as sexist when they’re pro-women?
I reckon you could give that book to a gay person too, and he’d be happy with it.
Apart from the wood-kit, which is shaped like a 1982 car. It’s going to take a really vivid imagination to convince the child he’s building Lewis Hamilton’s ride.
Speaking of which; respect growing all the time for the lad. If you look at the sponsor events and special attraction things that go on, and are often posted onto the Official F1 site, you’ll find Lewis is always at them.
Like for example, at the recent Mercedes celebration, he was the only racer from this year to attend. Jenson was probably sitting in his Monaco flat wondering how he’s going to pay for the carbon-silk cashmere on the balcony while saying to himself “World Champion baby”.
That is a bit harsh i know, maybe he’ll grow into it and become more of an ambassador for the sport over time, like Bernie wants his champions to be.
As for F1-themed Christmas gifts, i’d suggest books, DVD’s and models. All of which can be found at http://www.grandprixlegends.com
If someone gave me ‘Racing Grannies as a gift’, i’d be inclined to stuff it somewhere on their person.
Alternatively if your resident F1-fan likes games, then tracking down the 2009 mod’s for GP4, F1 Challenge, or rFactor and copying them onto disk to have something physical to give; is inexpensive, yet will bring hours of fun. You won’t have to buy them a Wii specifically to play with this years cars either.
Great idea lining up the ‘Adopt a Badger’ scheme.
And finally has anyone seen this? Hilarious!
