Yes, the bells are ringing Dave, but while at the Wiliams HQ in Grove last year (yep, I'm shamelessly name-dropping) their PR chap pointed out on the wall of certificates and trophies that their championship success ended when Newey left the team for Red Bull.

I'm not saying he is the direct cause/effect - hence it's an 'interesting fact' !!

As for the livery, yep it's very similar to 2009, and it still looks great!

-- as ever, thanks for the comment - as insightful as ever! Adam - editor

Ps. Really hope Webber's testing woes aren't a sign of things to come...

*clears throat* Er.. that looks exactly the same as last year's car, what's taken so long?

I don't think the chassis is a worry of the team, it's the engine lasting 2 races that's going to decide whether Red Bull are in the championship or not. Last year they got away with it because they had the only car that could keep the Brawn's in sight, this year they'll get murdered if the engine lets them down at any stage.
What they really need is a problem or two in testing to get all the bad luck out of the way early....

Funnily enough, as i'm writing this...
11:21 The first red flag of the week has been caused by Webber stopping in the new Red Bull RB6.

A couple more like that in testing and the Championship gets ever-closer!

I disagree with the Newey statement. While Schumacher was doing his part to ruin F1 in the early 00's, Williams (with BMW - and without Newey) were looking again like genuine front-runners.
Montoya, R.Schumacher.... ring any bells? :)
