The Badger Team

F1 Badger was founded in 2008 by Adam Stuart Mills and now there’s a crack team of F1 enthusiasts and writers working together to produce this quite brilliant website. We all contribute to the site and other projects to make this all happen.

  • Adam Stuart Mills
    • Editor in Chief, writer, tweeter, promotions, sponsorship, fantasy gp president, the founder and all-rounder
    • articlestwitter
    • aka Adam Milleneuve – born in Scotland moved to Birmingham, Leeds and now resides in London.  His favourite biscuit is the Chocolate Hobnob, closely followed by a fig roll.  A big fan of the ‘a cup of tea solves everything’ mentality and a big fan of all things formula one.  He doesn’t drive a car but enjoys zooming (relatively) around London on Italian scooters.  Ciao.
  • Ciaran Bodenham
    • Writer, promotions and photography
    • articles
    • aka Ciaran Buttonham – currently lost somewhere up north.  A big fan of the ‘prego’ way of life and designs tesco super markets when not writing hilarious aticles. He’s a massive F1 fan and has driven around the Monza race track in the wet.  He’s the most well acclaimed pigeon observer in the country and famous for it.  Blimey.
  • Tessa Jones
    • Writer, tweeter and column queen
    • articlestwitter
    • aka Tess Tarossa – originally a Sussex country bumpkin, now a Londoner up to her eyes in law literature who loves her Rover called Gordon – a proper old man’s car that barely passes his MOT.  She’s such a massive F1 fan that she called her goldfish Johnny Herbert.  Bless.
  • Richard Mosley
    • Writer, illustrator, historian and encyclopedic
    • articlestrack illustrations
    • aka Riccardo Monza – our resident (self proclaimed) F1 anorak. He draws pictures when not writing and quite often finds himself in Japan. He’s met many a F1 driver and knows more about the ‘good old days’ than any f1 encyclopedia could tell you.  Clever.
  • Emma Ekins
    • Writer and queen of the Top 5s
    • articles
    • aka Emma E Rouge – she’s busy fixing people when not discussing her f1 opinons (of which she has plenty).  She will never forgive Fernando Alonso for his actions in 2007 but promises not to be biased when writing her regular Top 5 ‘Badgerometer’ column.  She still wishes it was the 1980s and is currently still getting over the fact that Eurovision has lost Terry Wogan as an anchor. Crikey.
  • Ben James
    • Writer
    • articles
    • aka Benson Jammichello – originally from a Sussex seaside town near Brighton (with a cracking pier and lido, if you’re interested), he’s lived in London since traveling up there to go to university. He thinks he is best summed up by a message written by his sister in his Christmas card. With a picture of a moose on the front, she’d written: “Benj, I would never mistake you for a moose. An idiot, yes; a moose, no.” Charming.
  • James Weeks
    • Writer
    • articlestwitter
    • aka Jimmy Von Weeks – Once vaunted as ‘an F1 driver of the future’ by a South Wales local newspaper Jimmy now immerses himself in writing about the sport. Particularly interested in rising F1 talent as the possibilities are far more exciting than the reality. Also a huge fan of the much maligned sport of association football.
  • Guest Writer – Victoria Reid
  • Guest Writer – David Highway
  • Guest Writer - Paul Kendrick

Good times, The Badger enjoys a cuppa and a natter with a legend. (L-R: Ciaran, Riccardo and Adam with Sir Stirling Moss)
